Question Number 1515 Question: the following are true of fetal measurements by endovaginal ultrasound in the first trimester a) The gestational sac increases in mean diameter by approximately 0.1 mm per day b) the geatational sac diameter should be measured from its inner edges c) Up to 8 weeks’ gestation there is a good correlation between the human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) levels, and gestational sac size d) a crown-rump length of 5cm correspods to a gestational age of about 6 weeks e) the length of the umbilical cord is approximately equivalent to the crown–rump length
