b) the most common site of an ectopic pregnancy is the ampulla of the fallopian tube
c) there is a history of pelvic pain in over 90%
d) if an ectopic pregnancy is suspected an endovaginal scan is contra-indicated
e) a live embryo is seen in the adnexa in about 50%
