Question: A mother brings her 8 year old son complaining that when her son catches a cold, it goes to his chest and lasts for more than 3 weeks. She has also noticed a whistling sound when he exhales. On examination the physician detects a slight wheeze, though the child is otherwise well. The boy has no history of any disease and is on no medication. Appropriate treatment at this stage would include a) B2 agonists as and when required |
