 Question Number 0781 Question: A 48-year-old woman had an oblique comminuted fracture of the left distal tibia. A long leg cast was applied. By early morning, the patient was complaining of increasing pain and numbness in the lower left extremity. Her toes were severely edematous, and passive flexion and extension caused tremendous pain. This persisted despite splitting of the plaster. Appropriate treatment would include: a) advise regular exercise b) fasciotomy c) Amputation d) prosthetic graft e) Duplex scan
