A 45 yr old non-smoker complains of pain in the calf on walking up hill for 400 yrds. On examination he has an absent dorsalis pedis but other the other pulses are normal. Appropriate treatment would include:

a) advise regular exercise
b) fasciotomy
c) Amputation
d) prosthetic graft
e) Duplex scan
