 Question Number 0614 Question: A 23 year old airline steward develops severe bilateral eye pain and hyperemia accompanied by blurred vision. On examination he is noted to have a profuse, thick, yellow-green purulent discharge. He has chemosis of the conjunctiva and tender pre-auricular nodes on palpation. Close examination also reveals intra-orbital membrane formation. These clinical feature are characteristic of: a) ectropion b) cavernous hemangiomas c) chronic dacryocystitis d) glaucoma e) gonococcal infection
