 Question Number 0469 Question: An 40 year old male patient complains of six months of progressively worsening muscular pains. On a routine screening he was noted to have an elevated serum calcium of 12.0 mg/dl. Serum albumin, protein, magnesium, and chloride were all within normal limits. A parathormone assay level of 211 picograms/ml (normal = 10 to 55 picograms/ml) was noted.
