 Question Number 0105 Question: A mother brings her 2 year old newly adopted girl for an orthopedic assessment. She remarks that her child walks with a 'waddling gait'. She does not have any relevant medical history for her child. Plain radiographs of the hips and lower limbs are taken. The right hip shows an abnormal Shenton's line a flattened acetabulum and the head of the femur is seen to lie outside the expected quadrant. The most likely pathology is a) osteogenesis imperfecta b) fractured neck of femur c) congenital dislocation of the hip d) Transient monoarticular synovitis e) osteoid osteoma
